Eccleston Bowling Club established 1912
Here at Eccleston Bowling Club we are very proud of the appearance of our club from the freshly painted gate with welcome sign, through to the well kept hedges and gardens and the well maintained playing green.
The green maintenance is carried out by our own excellent greensman who will mow and care for the green every other day, more if there is a competition on. As well as a plentiful supply of helpful and willing volunteers who work hard on keeping up appearances all round. Add to this the new chairs and benches and you have nice clean pleasant surroundings
to sit and enjoy the games.
Competition days are well catered for with freshly made sandwiches, pies and home baked cakes (not to be missed). We welcome new members of all ages and try to encourage young people to have a go, we have eight members who have clearance to help and train children. The green can be hired for private parties.
